Lyric Street Records, Rascal Flatts’ label, will be phased out by its parent company, Disney Music Group. Rascal Flatts will transfer to another record label within the Disney Music Group, while a core promotions team will market and promote the label’s current records. The label roster also included Sarah Buxton, Bucky Covington, Love and Theft and newcomer Tyler Dickerson. Disney opened Lyric Street as its country label in 1997.
