AFGHANISTAN: Obama Reveals Troop Withdrawal Plan
President Obama made good on his promise last night — at least verbally — by saying that the 33,000 additional U.S. forces he sent to Afghanistan in December 2009 will be home by September 2012.
Under the withdrawal plan, Obama said that 10,000 of the forces sent to Afghanistan in the 2009 surge would be sent home by the end of this year, with the other 23,000 out of Afghanistan by September 2012.
Obama said that the military effort in Afghanistan was “meeting our goals” and troops would be leaving “from a position of strength.” He called the surge of troops “one of the most difficult decisions” that he has made as president.
He added that “Al Qaeda is under more pressure than at any time since 9/11,” saying that the killing of Osama bin Laden “was a victory for all who have served since 9/11.”
One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Footloose (2011). A remake of the 1984 classic. see the offical movie trailer.

Glen adds, “I still love making music. And I still love performing for my fans. I’d like to thank them for sticking with me through thick and thin.”
